CYPRES essential oil (Cupressus lusitanica)

Nowadays, people use essential oils to treat different diseases, preserve health and get a feeling of physical and psychic wellbeing. I recall that essential oils are energetic and powerful plant concentrations. fd

I am pleased to share with you here the virtues of the ten most known essential oils in our country. You will learn how to use the aromatic essences and find in a natural way health and joie de vivre

The cypress is a tree which can reach up to 30 m height. People extract cypress essential oils by using tender needles and branches. This essential oil has many active principles but it is especially known for its vasodilatatrices and veins tonics actions: circulation disorders or difficult circulation, heavy legs, varicose veins, cellulites, hemorrhoids, capillary brittleness, painful menstruation, excessive losses, menopause trouble and muscular cramps.
Generally, it rebalances the organism particularly the nervous system. It is recommended for sadness, irritability, melancholy and anxiety. It is diuretic, antispasmodic, antirhumatismale (chronic rheumatisms), anti diarrhea and haemostatic (anti-hemorrhages). It is good for smokers who cough, spasmodic coughs, whooping-cough, pulmonary obstructions and influenza but it is also very useful for urinary incontinence, night enuresis and excessive transpiration. Finally, it has protective virtues against some kinds of cancer.
In external use, it treats the acnes, seborrhea, cellulites, cramps and excessive transpiration.
